Our trainer and technical director Andrew DuLake brings more than 30 years experience in microcement and natural plaster application.
Originally from the UK, he has taught students around the world and shares a wealth of knowledge around construction, preparation and problem-solving.
Andrew consistently receives 5-star reviews for his in depth, practical teaching that goes beyond just application to focus deeply on all areas of build, preparation and communication.
FAQs
Ibiza Plaster is one of the few truly natural plasters (no synthetic polymers) on the market. It is also a unique blend of materials that behave differently to other decorative plasters. This course will teach you how to achieve a range of finishes as well as apply our natural plaster in the most efficient way in a professional setting.
Yes, we have scheduled our training courses back-to-back so you can complete both product trainings in the same week.
We will also cover the material science behind our plaster, giving you an understanding of how the different materials work together and the health and sustainability benefits of this unique plaster so you can communicate these benefits to your clients and architects/designers.
Our training is held at our facility in Coolum on the Sunshine Coast. We are located approximately 15 minutes from the Sunshine Coast airport. Coolum is the closest place for accommodation.
This course is designed for professional applicators with hawk and trowel skills and this is reflected in the duration of the course.
