About us
Mineral Fox exists to help people return to nature through their mineral wall finishes. We create uniquely beautiful, natural wall plasters and renders made from lime, clay and gypsum with bio-based additives and recycled materials. Catering to architects, interior designers, and homeowners who seek an alternative to conventional wall finishes, our mission is to bring every person closer to nature.
Mineral Fox was founded in 2020 by Karmin Kenny, a mother of two young children who, after travelling the world, was seeking a traditional, non-toxic wall plaster for their home. But was frustrated by the lack of options available. Passionate about plaster and with an eye for aesthetics, she developed a small range of products and began to offer them direct to clients.
Today Mineral Fox wall finishes have featured in thousands of commercial and residential projects and are specified by some of Australia’s leading architects and interior designers.
Made in Australia, Mineral Fox has a growing catalogue of innovative, natural finishes and a national network of highly skilled applicators.
Mineral Fox believes that natural coatings have the potential to be super (building) materials that support human health and well-being and help heal our climate by reducing and storing carbon in our building materials. Mineral Fox has formed partnerships with environmental organisations, community groups and scientists to develop carbon-storing bio-based products that divert waste from landfill, capture and store carbon and create a world where nature is felt in every corner of people’s living spaces.
